Our Thoughts Are With Survivors of Storm Helen

Storm Helen has brought unprecedented devastation to several states across the southeastern USA over the last few days. High winds and torrential rains tore through communities from Florida to Tennessee, claiming over 100 lives and displacing thousands. Florida’s Big Bend coast suffered the initial impact, where massive storm surges flooded entire neighborhoods.

Georgia and the Carolinas faced record-breaking rainfall and floods that cut off entire communities. South Carolina dealt with deadly tornadoes and fallen trees, while Tennessee experienced widespread evacuations as rivers overflowed.
